Program
The Lumière Summit brings together, for the first time at this level, States, the leading companies in film, television and gaming, creators and cultural organizations from across five continents to address a single question: how can the value of the moving image be created, shared and sustained in the decade ahead? That question takes different forms across established and fast-growing markets, where some of the world’s most dynamic new audiences, creative ecosystems and models of circulation are emerging, not least through the global rise of series and new forms of storytelling.
While reflecting this diversity of geographies and experiences, the programme unfolds as one continuous conversation: an opening plenary that establishes its central thesis, four thematic tracks that explore its implications through the industry’s most pressing questions, and a closing plenary that looks to the future. Each session is designed to move from a shared understanding of the challenges to concrete action.
