Audiovisual Next Gen
Supporting the Next Generation of Audiovisual Leaders
Audiovisual Next Gen is a new global Young Leaders initiative launched by France, through the CNC, together with international partners. It will identify, connect and accelerate twenty high-potential professionals under 35 who are poised to shape the future of the audiovisual industry across sectors and continents.
It is not a training programme or a project incubator, but an accelerator for people. Over eighteen months, mentoring, peer exchange, closed-door industry dialogue, site visits and four international immersions across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas will give participants access to senior leaders and major creative ecosystems—helping them build relationships, broaden their perspectives and unlock opportunities that would otherwise take years to develop. By bringing together creators and executives, public and private actors, and professionals working across content, technology, rights, audiences and adjacent creative industries, Audiovisual Next Gen will break down traditional silos and build a lasting global network of emerging decisionmakers.
A first cohort with a purpose. The inaugural class, to be announced in January 2027, will be composed entirely of women, reflecting a shared commitment to addressing the persistent under-representation of women in senior creative and executive positions across the sector.
Led by France (CNC) with support from Netflix, RTL Group, Mediawan.
